Preserving Finland’s Purity
There is a new blue gold. It cannot be mined, minted or manufactured. It can only be found, and protected. Few sources renew as slowly as groundwater, forming over decades and centuries rather than seasons. And few countries are fortunate enough to have as much of it as Finland. Sustainability at Kuohu Water is part of every decision we make: caring for our artesian sources, choosing materials, reducing emissions and continuously measuring our environmental impact.
Our Commitment in Practice
Caring for the Source

- Full on-site waste recycling
- Groundwater quality and availability maintained for the long term
Packaging with Purpose
Glass-only packaging and carefully selected materials designed to minimise environmental impact.
- Lightweight glass bottle
- 50% recycled glass

- Bio-based label
- Lightweight cardboard packaging
- Recyclable packaging materials
Verified Water Quality
We verify purity. Our waters are regularly analysed by independent laboratories to confirm their quality and safety.
- PFAS: Not Detected
- Microplastics: Not Detected
- Naturally Soft and Low in Minerals
- Low Total Dissolved Solids (TDS)
- Naturally Low Sodium
- Near-Neutral pH
- Independently Laboratory Tested
Climate Responsibility
Taking responsibility also means measuring our impact.
Kuohu Water products are Carbon Neutral Certified, with greenhouse gas emissions independently monitored and reported each year, in line with the Preferred by Nature Carbon Footprint Management Standard.
We first work to reduce emissions at the source: renewable electricity, on-site solar power, energy efficiency and lighter packaging. Remaining emissions are compensated through independently verified Gold Standard-certified projects that improve access to clean drinking water for families in Laos, so the same commitment that safeguards our own water also helps secure it for others.
